Washington Adventist University Presents Annual Christmas Concert December 4

Washington Adventist University’s Department of Music will present their annual Christmas concert  this year on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sligo church in Takoma Park, Md.

The concert is free and open to the public, and parking is available across Flower Avenue and behind the church along Greenwood Avenue.

Students from the university’s Department of Music will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria as well as traditional Christmas music reflecting the spirit of the season. Pro Musica, the Columbia Collegiate Chorale and the New England Youth Ensemble of Washington Adventist University will perform.

These students regularly perform on the stages of such prestigious venues as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (D.C.) and Carnegie Hall (N.Y.) They also perform internationally, most recently during a June tour of Australia that included performances in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
