WGTS Listeners Step Up to Support Ministry During Fall Fundraiser

Listeners recently came together to help keep WGTS 91.9, a Christian radio station owned by Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Md., financially strong Almost 4,000 listeners either called or made their gifts online during the four-and-a-half day event, giving a total of over $1.1 million dollars.

The theme of not just this fall’s fundraiser, but of the station this year, is “God is for you.” That theme was evident in the many listener stories that were shared on the air of how God is working in individual listener’s lives.

“Once again it was humbling to see so many listeners share how God is using this media ministry. They truly are our partners in ministry because they’re financial support allows us to keep sharing the good news with people around the nation’s capital and the world,” says general manager Kevin Krueger.
